Refund Policy

1. General Policy

All subscription payments and tips made on SubscriberLink are final and non-refundable.

This policy is standard in the creator economy and allows creators to have confidence in their earnings. When you subscribe to a creator or send a tip, you are purchasing immediate access to their content and services.

2. Subscription Cancellation

2.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through:

When you cancel a subscription, your access to premium content continues until the end of your current billing period. After that date, your subscription will not renew and your access will revert to the free tier.

2.3 No Prorated Refunds

We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of your subscription period. If you cancel mid-month, you will retain access until the end of the billing period, but no refund will be issued for remaining days.

3. Exceptions

We may consider refunds in the following limited circumstances:

If you are unable to access content you paid for due to a verified technical issue on our platform that we are unable to resolve, we may issue a refund or credit at our discretion.

3.2 Duplicate Charges

If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription or tip due to a system error, we will refund the duplicate charges.

3.3 Unauthorized Transactions

If your payment method was used without your authorization (fraud), we will work with you and your payment provider to resolve the issue. Please report unauthorized transactions immediately.

3.4 Creator Account Termination

If a creator's account is terminated by SubscriberLink for policy violations and you had an active subscription, we may provide a prorated refund for the remaining subscription period.

4. How to Request an Exception

If you believe you qualify for a refund under one of the exceptions above, please contact us with:

  • Your email address associated with your account
  • The date and amount of the transaction
  • A description of the issue and why you believe a refund is warranted
  • Any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages)

We aim to respond to refund requests within 3-5 business days. If approved, refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days and will appear on your original payment method.

5. Creator Refunds

When a refund is issued for any reason, the creator is affected as follows:

  • The refunded amount is deducted from the creator's earnings
  • The Stripe processing fees from the original transaction are not refunded to the creator
  • The 1% platform fee is refunded proportionally

This is standard industry practice. Creators are encouraged to provide quality content and responsive customer service to minimize refund requests.

6. Chargebacks

6.1 What is a Chargeback?

A chargeback occurs when you dispute a transaction directly with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first.

6.2 Impact on Your Account

Filing a chargeback may result in:

  • Suspension of your SubscriberLink account
  • Loss of access to all subscribed content
  • Being banned from future purchases on the platform

6.3 Dispute Process

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues fairly and promptly. Chargebacks should be reserved for cases of actual fraud where your payment method was used without authorization.

6.4 Chargeback Fees

When a subscriber initiates a chargeback, Stripe charges a dispute fee per transaction. If the dispute is contested and lost, additional fees may apply. See Stripe's pricing for current fee amounts.

Important for Creators: As the payment recipient, you are responsible for chargeback fees:

  • The original payment amount is reversed from your earnings
  • The Stripe dispute fee is deducted from your account
  • Original Stripe processing fees are not refunded

We strongly encourage creators to provide quality content and excellent customer service to minimize chargeback risk. Excessive chargebacks may result in account restrictions.
